The war in Ukraine impacts the whole population; houses bombed, people killed, soldiers maimed, grief and resilience in equal measure affects mental health.
But we have selected the best Ukrainian charities, registered in the UK, to carry out vital humanitarian support in Ukraine and bring medical relief, humanitarian support to civilians and war veterans, help to the disabled and generators to the cold.
Music is the food of love and its Music that will be our vehicle to show our support to the Ukrainian nation.

British and Ukrainian universities will offer a day of student and alumni musical performance to fundraise and demonstrate their support. Academics and researchers are encouraged to give short Ted talks on the benefits of music to health, wellbeing and the common good, in between performances. Our second aim is to raise the profile, talent and share the expertise of a musical education in British universities.

Each university will broadcast their concerts via their digital media (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, websites, etc) so we reach a wider audience. Bath Spa university are convening a ‘master channel’ editing from each university to feature different performances.
Everyone is invited to join in, perform, fundraise and share the day’s power of music.

AMAR Foundation (who provide support to Ukrainian refugee families in Romania) are providing the donation platform and will reclaim gift aid on behalf of the various Ukrainian charities, less 10% handling and project fees, and will then pass on the donation money to the charities (all of which are registered in the UK and are highly effective and legitimate).
